For every child
At Joy and Gladness Children’s Academy, every activity is thoughtfully designed to support each child’s growth in language, math, creativity, social skills, sensory exploration, and physical development. Through play-based learning—ranging from art and STEM to outdoor play, music, and pretend play—we nurture curiosity, confidence, and well-rounded development in every child.

Our Services include
Certification and staff training
Staff are CPR and First Aid certified.
Teachers have experience in early childhood education.
The director / leadership is committed to ongoing training: the center requires a minimum of 12 hours of childcare-related training per year for staff.
Program types and subsidies
Joy and Gladness Children’s Academy operates year-round and offers full-time care designed to support families with consistent, reliable scheduling. We proudly accept state childcare subsidy, making quality early education more accessible to the families we serve. We offer a weekly, biweekly, and monthly option for copayments.
Meals
Children are provided breakfast, lunch, and snack that meets USDA standards.
We do offer modified meals to those with food allergies or aversions.
After school transportation
Joy and Gladness Children’s Academy provides reliable after-school transportation from surrounding schools directly to our daycare. This service ensures students arrive safely each afternoon and allows families added convenience and peace of mind.
Homework assistance
We strive to help every child no matter the age succeed in everything they do. To help parents or guardians, we offer homework completion and tutoring services for students in after school care.
After school Care
We offer child care for children 5 to 12 years of age. Every child in after school care will be provided with a snack, outdoor time, homework assistance, and time to unwind after school.
